Want to learn about our Gorgon problem, well, I can't say I can inform you completely but I will try my best to cover everything, from the creatures of the wave to the armour and plates they drop (and of course the upgrade process.)

But the short and sweet version is you must complete the quest Deliver Us From the Dark Queen.

DO NOT TT VELLUM OR BLOOD OF THE GODS (YOU WILL ONLY GET THIS ONCE).
DO NOT SELL YOUR BLOCK CHISEL BP OR TT IT BEFORE COMPLETING THESE MISSIONS (YOU WILL ONLY GET THIS ONCE).
The Wave
There are two main wave's, each require a large amount of sweat. If you don't feel up to gathering 10K-20K sweat then please support our sweating community, you will find a lot of people (including myself) are very willing to sell sweat, for the right price.
